Tate Sensory Sculptures, in the gallery at Tate Britain, with Tate Learning team

A series of multi-sensory multi-functional sonorous instruments made in response to SEND young people and Early Years Children. The resulting sculptures will be available for groups to use at Tate Britain from 2024.

The variation between each one was also impressive as they could experiment with different shapes and ideas. Was good to see them unlock their creativity and explore without being ushered towards a particular answer.’ Quote from a primary school teacher on how their young people played the sculptures.
